～ Looking Back on the 2024 Summer Junior Camp～ Vol.1 Teacher Shey
I have countless cherished memories from my time with our students, but a few stand out. One highlight was introducing them to our beloved Filipino dessert, halo-halo. Watching their curiosity and delight as they tasted this unique treat was priceless. It was a joy to share a piece of our culture with them.
生徒たちとの時間にはたくさんの大切な思い出がありますが、特に印象に残っている瞬間がいくつかあります。ひとつは、フィリピンの定番デザート「ハロハロ」を紹介したときのこと。みんながこのユニークなスイーツを味わって、好奇心いっぱいに喜んでくれる様子を見るのは、本当に特別な経験でした。自分たちの文化をシェアできて、とても嬉しかったです。
Another unforgettable moment was the night we spent together, chatting about Filipino foods and snacks. Those late-night conversations were filled with laughter, warmth, and genuine connection. Their kindness and affection left a lasting impression on me.
もうひとつ忘れられないのは、夜遅くまでみんなでフィリピンの食べ物やおやつについて語り合った夜。笑い声が絶えず、温かい雰囲気の中で深くつながることができました。みんなの優しさや温かさが、今でも心に残っています。
